This exceptionally plush hammock features two layers of solution-dyed all-weather synthetic fabric sandwiching a thick center of nonabsorbent polyester hollow-fill fiber manufactured from recycled plastic drink bottles. The top fabric layer is Sunbrella, while the bottom is a neutral DURACORD® both fabric types are not only resistant to rot, mold, mildew and staining, but also are exceptionally colorfast, with a softness on par with cotton. An attachable trapezoidal tufted head-pillow is included, made from the same two superior outdoor fabrics.
This hammock's standout feature is it's pillowy contours, created by eight nickel-plated rolled-rim grommets. Not only do they add an element of design, but they also prevent rainwater from pooling in the hammock bed by draining quickly and efficiently.
The hammock bed is framed by two thick spreader bars of richly hued, deeply grained, unfinished South American Cumaru wood. The Hatteras Hammocks logo is branded onto the spreader bar, so you know you have the real thing. Chains and hanging hardware are handsome, rust-resistant zinc-plated steel.
