Shipping times & info

Our goal at Hatteras Hammocks is to get every order packed and shipped within 1-2 days. Out-of-stock items obviously can put a little kink in that, and generally take about 2-3 days for us to ship. Prices for shipping are for the continental US. For orders to HI, AK and other US Territories, please contact us.

We ship FedEx Ground. Please note that FedEx Ground delivers on Saturday, but not on Monday. That means that if your shipping destination falls somewhere in FedExâ€™s 2-day delivery zone and we ship your order out on a Thursday, FedEx will deliver it that Saturday. If youâ€™re in FedExâ€™s 4-day delivery zone, that same order will be delivered the Tuesday immediately following the weekend.
For large orders, shipments may go freight. This is to ensure your packages ship together and arrive together. For special requests please call (877) 601-9967.
Since our products tend to make such dandy gifts, the invoices that accompany our orders donâ€™t include either pricing or payment information. Of course, if you're sending a Hatteras Hammocks product as a present, itâ€™s never a bad idea to let that special someone know to be expecting a package!
Once your order has shipped, you can always get tracking info on it here. If you included an e-mail address in with your order, we can also send you tracking information directly. Some e-mail providers may automatically block incoming mail from our domain name, so you may need to â€śinstructâ€ť your e-mail program to allow mail from hatterashammocks.com in order to receive order and shipping confirmation from us.
Damage from shipping
We donâ€™t see this happen much, thankfully. Nonetheless, if something youâ€™ve ordered from us should arrive damaged from shipping, weâ€™ll be more than happy to send a replacement to you as soon as possible, and we'll work with FedEx ourselves regarding any claims and damages. Please note, however, that we canâ€™t use rush-delivery to send a replacement for something damaged in shipping. We strive to keep our shipping costs as low as possible so we can then pass along those savings to our customers.
