Hammock fabric is two layers of our own solution-dyed synthetic DuraCord sandwiching a thick center of nonabsorbent polyester hollowfill fiber made from recycled plastic drink bottles; the top layer features the delightful Watermark Cool Springs pattern, while the back is a solid neutral color.

Not only resistant to abrasion, rot, mold, mildew and staining, DuraCord also has an unmatched level of colorfastness, and a softness to rival cotton.

The hammock's pillowy contours are created by eight well-placed nickel-plated rolled-rim grommets, which have the added distinction of preventing rainwater from pooling in the hammock bed, draining instead quickly and efficiently.

The hammock bed is framed by two thick spreader bars of richly hued, deeply grained, unfinished South American cumaru, among the densest, prettiest, woods on Earth. Chains and hanging hardware are handsome, rust-resistant zinc-plated steel.

The Watermark Cool Springs Tufted Hammock comes with an attachable trapezoidal tufted head-pillow of the same fabric pattern and plush center of recycled polyester hollowfill fiber.
